1. Platform Role
On-Demand Local Services is a marketplace and does not directly provide home services. Professionals listed on the platform are independent providers responsible for their own work, licenses, insurance, and compliance with applicable laws.
2. User Eligibility and Accounts
By using this platform, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Professional Listings and Verification
Verification badges indicate that certain checks were performed by the platform, but they do not guarantee quality, suitability, or outcomes. Customers should independently evaluate providers before hiring.
4. Payments and Subscriptions
Professional subscription plans are billed through Stripe. Fees, billing cycles, and trial periods are shown at checkout. Subscription changes, renewals, and cancellations follow the terms shown in the billing portal and checkout flow.
5. Reviews and Content
Users may submit reviews and other content. You must not post unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or misleading content. We may moderate, hide, or remove content that violates these Terms or platform policies.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, On-Demand Local Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or services provided by independent professionals.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the platform for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, abuse, or activity that threatens platform integrity or user safety.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
